Psychometry Lessons

Yesterday evening I had a fun and enlightening session of sensing the energy of various objects that were put in front of me hidden in socks. (I kept my eyes closed and did not touch the socks so I did not get any sense of the size or shape of the items.)

What was interesting with a couple of the items was that the original intention and emotions of the person who gave them were still present in the object. Feeling the strength of these energies proved a very useful reminder to me to be so mindful and conscious of the energy we give out with even small gestures. Our thoughts are powerful and produce energies which can stay around for a very long time and possibly have a detrimental effect on other people, if not coming from an entirely healthy place within our consciousness.

To my surprise, one item which had a lovely energy turned out to be a medal from a soldier who had died in the First World War. It had been cherished ever since by his family members and had a very strong spiritual connection. I could have quite happily meditated with it for hours, which is ironic as I would never have considered consciously choosing this sort of item as a meditation aid!

Something else I sensed felt as if it had a spirit being or some physical thing trapped within it, and it turned out to be a fossil! And yet another object that had a really peaceful energy to it turned out to be a small part (the barrel) of a wooden clarinet. I felt this energy was a result of the owner having enjoyed playing it and how the sound vibration had left it with a clear energy.

All this shows that there are so many energies affecting us in so many ways, even with seemingly simple objects. We have the power to affect our environments positively or otherwise, with each thought and choice we make in every moment... Each time I have tried the art of Psychometry has been thought-provoking and provided me with my own evidence of the power of thought. These are truly invaluable lessons!
